摘要：Provided is an oil-in-water emulsion composition which is excellent in thestability of a metal oxide powder contained and also in uniform applicability, is highlyagreeable to the skin, spreads and stays well, is favorably usable with reduced feelings ofstickiness and friction, exhibits excellent stability over time, and has a high moisturizingeffect. The present invention provides an oil-in-water emulsion composition comprisingthe following components (A) to (C): (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl or alkenyl ether whichhas an alkyl or alkenyl group having 20 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms and has anaverage molar number of ethylene oxide added of 1.5 or more and 4 or less, (B) a liquidoil, and (C) a hydrophobized fine particle metal oxide powder.
