The elderly have accumulated a lifetime of experience, but as far as I am concerned, many young people often think that they are unimportant, embarrassed and disconnected. The traditional Chinese virtue of respecting the elderly should first emphasize that the efforts of the elderly in raising their children deserve to be respected for their contribution to society. We should always bear in mind that what we have and enjoy now is created by the elderly in their early years There is an old saying in the state that one generation plants trees, another in the shade.
Secondly, the family is one of the best places to learn values and view of interest. Therefore, by taking good care of the elderly and letting children learn to do so, families will establish correct values and view of interest,and young people will learn how to respect the elderly.
